Torrance, Calif--StopTech LLC announces a brake upgrade kit for the Acura Integra RSX Type S as the latest addition to its Balanced Big Brake Kits.

The new front brake system includes a pair of 328x28mm high performance AeroRotors® with 7075 T-6 directional billet aluminum hats, a pair of four piston high performance ST40 calipers, caliper adapter brackets, high performance brake pads and front stainless steel DOT compliant braided brake lines. The StopTech Integra RSX Type S kit is a direct bolt on replacement of the stock front system with no modifications required to the chassis or suspension.

Incorporating a unique patent pending directional vane design, the two-piece AeroRotors provide dramatically improved induced airflow (over 60%) versus the straight vane stock rotor. Higher induced airflow means cooler operating temperatures under normal and aggressive driving conditions. Better cooling means longer pad and rotor life and a brake system that dramatically reduces fade. The StopTech AeroRotor features a proprietary cast iron formula that resists cracking and fatigue. The two-piece AeroRotor assembly includes a floating hat system that resists warping during heating and cooling cycles.

The ST-40 Caliper features a patented bridge that makes the caliper up to two times stiffer than similar designs. The ST-40 caliper is available with a differential piston set matched to the Integra RSX Type S master cylinder. By designing the optimum piston size combination for the Integra RSX Type S master cylinder and rear brakes the StopTech brake upgrade kit enables better pedal feel and modulation of the brakes than competitive systems. No cost options include drilled or slotted rotors, red or black painted calipers.
