Torrance, CA--The combination of the well-prepared Tri-Point Motorsports Mazda 6 with StopTech brakes and Jeff Altenburg took the podium at Road America in the SCCA Speed World Challenge Touring Car Series.

Through some talented driving, Jeff Altenburg diced through the pack from ninth place to fourth at the finish line, while setting the second fastest lap time during the race. The front running car was disqualified due to technical issues, which propelled Altenburg to a spot on the podium.

“It was awesome, great pedal feel, braking capability, and the brake system was rock-solid consistent throughout the entire race,” exclaimed Altenburg. “At Road America with a race that had no yellows, that is saying something!”

Altenburg went on to say, “There was never a question of how the car was going to feel when braking at the threshold. NOBODY was out braking me, especially into Turn Five, running from top speed of around 140MPH to a slow second gear turn braking downhill, it was awesome and consistent every time!”
