StopTech LLC announces two 4-wheel brake upgrade kits for the 1995-1998 BMW E36 M3 as the latest additions to its line of Balanced Brake Upgrades^TM.

The new 4-wheel kit includes a pair of front 355x32mm and rear 332x32mm high performance directional AeroRotors® with 7075 T-6 billet aluminum directional hats, four four-piston high performance ST40 calipers, adapter brackets, high performance brake pads, as well as front and rear DOT compliant stainless steel braided brake lines. The 4-wheel kit is also available with 332x32mm front rotors. The StopTech kit is a direct bolt on replacement of the stock system.

Incorporating a unique patent pending directional vane design, the two-piece AeroRotors® dramatically improve induced airflow (over 30%) versus the stock rotor. Higher induced airflow means lower operating temperatures, which extends pad and rotor life and dramatically reduces brake fade. AeroRotors® feature a proprietary cast iron formula that resists cracking and fatigue. The two-piece AeroRotor includes a floating hat system that resists coning during heating and cooling cycles.

The ST40 caliper utilizes a patented caliper strengthening bridge that makes the caliper up to two times stiffer than similar designs. The ST40 calipers use a FMSI 372 pad that is available in many varieties of race and street friction.

The StopTech BMW E36 M3 Balanced Brake Upgrade maintains optimum front to rear brake torque balance. StopTech achieves optimum front to rear balance by sizing the caliper pistons specifically for the E36 versus competitive systems that use off the shelf calipers designed for different platforms. Benefits of balanced brake systems are shorter stopping distances, better brake pedal modulation and less pedal travel.

The retail price for the BMW E36 M3 4-Wheel Kit with 355x32mm front and 332x55mm rear rotors is $4,995.
