Torrance, California USA - StopTech LLC announces three front balanced brake upgrade kits for the 2003+ Dodge Neon SRT-4 as the latest additions to its line of Balanced Brake Upgrades^TM.

The ST40 front big brake kit includes a pair of front 328x28mm high performance directional AeroRotors® with 7075 T-6 billet aluminum directional hats, two 4-piston high performance ST40 calipers, adapter brackets, high performance brake pads, as well as front DOT compliant stainless steel braided brake lines. The StopTech kit is a direct bolt on replacement of the stock system.

The ST40 caliper utilizes a patented caliper strengthening bridge that makes the caliper two times stiffer than similar designs. ST40 calipers use a FMSI 372 pad that is available in many varieties of race and street friction. The ST40 kit is the optimum kit for road race applications.

The ST20 SRT-4 big brake kit is a high performance, low cost alternative to the ST40 kit. The ST20 offers over 10mm additional wheel clearance than the ST40 and is available with either a 328x28 two-piece directional AeroRotor or a one-piece directional AeroRotor. The ST20 calipers, like the ST40s, preserve the target vehicle's front to rear brake torque ratios. The ST20 provides a stylish 4-piston look in a versatile, compact 2-piston package.

Both the ST40 and ST20 big brake kits come with the patent-pending two-piece AeroRotors. Incorporating a unique patent pending directional vane design, the AeroRotors® dramatically improve induced airflow (over 50%) versus the stock rotor. Higher induced airflow means lower operating temperatures, which extends pad and rotor life and dramatically reduces brake fade. AeroRotors® feature a proprietary cast iron formula that resists cracking and fatigue, while the floating hat system resists coning during heating and cooling cycles.

The StopTech SRT-4 Balanced Brake Upgrades maintains optimum front to rear brake torque balance. StopTech achieves optimum front to rear balance by sizing the caliper pistons specifically for the SRT-4 versus competitive systems that use off the shelf calipers designed for different platforms. Benefits of balanced brake systems are shorter stopping distances, better brake pedal modulation and less pedal travel.

Rotors are available drilled, slotted or plain. ST40 calipers are available in red, black, silver, blue and yellow versions. Red and Black are available from stock to 2 weeks, allow 4 weeks for other colors.

The retail price for the Dodge Neon SRT-4 with 2-piece 328x28mm front rotors and ST40 calipers is $1,895. The ST20 version with 2-piece 328x28mm front rotors and ST20 calipers is $1,595 and with one-piece 328x28 front rotors the price is $1,295.
