Titanium Backing Plates
These titanium backing plates are inserted
between the pad and the caliper to reduce heat transfer from the pads
to the pistons. The plates help the dust boots last longer on the track
and reduce the temperature of the brake fluid. Set of 4 plates.

Caliper Rebuild Service
We rebuild StopTech and other calipers. Standard Rebuild Includes: Piston Seals, Dust Boots, Cross-Over Tube, Bleed Screws, Caliper Bolts and Washers, Bridge Bolts and Washers (StopTech), Pad Retaining Clip (StopTech), Pressure Testing of Caliper. New pistons are extra. See price list for detailsOn Brembo or Porsche calipers, some components may or may not be replaced depending on the exact caliper model. Pad hardware such as spring clips or pad retaining pins are not included. We can service Brembo F40, F50, Viper, Lotus and Cobra R as well as late model 4-piston Porsche calipers with dust boots. Hardware that was painted on the original caliper such as bolts and cross-over tubes will not be painted. They will be our standard Dacromet coating for bolts and yellow Zinc for the bleed screws.
To order, call StopTech to get a RMA number to track your parts. Calipers must be clean and dry to touch. Seal the brake line inlet port and package to prevent damage during shipment. Leaking calipers may cause the delivery service to quarantine your calipers as hazardous waste. Calipers should arrive reasonably clean or may be subject to a cleaning charge at our discretion (presume $50 minimum per caliper). 7-10 working days is typical turnaround. We can expedite to 5 working days for an additional charge of $25 per caliper. Customer pays shipping both ways.
